Looking for ways to sharpen your writing skills?

Workshops led by editors from The Upper Room magazine will be offered at a number of regional writers' conferences in 2009. Note that these conferences are not sponsored or endorsed by Upper Room Ministries.

San Diego Christian Writers Guild Fall Conference
September 25 & 26, 2009
Maranatha Chapel – Rancho Bernardo 10752 Coastwood Road San Diego, CA

Our Fall writers conference is for all writers -- beginners to professionals, and those who are wondering if this is what they are called to do. The Friday evening and all day Saturday conference is designed to instruct, inspire and let you meet the writers, editors, and publishers who are committed to helping you write, get published and follow the Lord's call on your life. We're here to help you use your gifts. Along with other faculty and conference leaders,

Jim Stafford, associate editor for The Upper Room magazine, will lead a two-session devotional-writing workshop and meet in one-on-one appointments with attendees.
