Greeting from the new Fourth Day Coordinator

Hello Emmaus and Chrysalis Communities!

I am so excited to be a part of the leadership team that is here to support and encourage you all in your Fourth Day and Next Steps. My own journey began in 1996 when I attended my Chrysalis Flight in Crossroads of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Over the past 15 years I’ve had so many of the experiences that each of you have had: I’ve served on weekends, both inside and outside of the conference room. I’ve attended monthly gatherings, sendoffs, candlelights and closings. I’ve served on the board and team selection committees. More>>

Music for Emmaus

Several years ago, Norman Ramsey attended the Walk to Emmaus and was influenced by his experience so much so that he wrote a song for each of the 15 talks. The International Walk to Emmaus Office has endorsed this CD and I think you’ll agree with me that these songs convey the spirit of the Walk. These are beautiful songs that were written by a person who was influenced by James Taylor, Carole King, Jim Croce and Chicago. Each song will take you back to the talk and empower you to be active in your Fourth Day. If you want to learn more, see the song titles and order these CD’s as agape, READ ON IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE DETAILS

New Thursday Night Movie For Emmaus

For the past two years, we have been looking for some movie or short film to replace “In Remembrance”. We contacted the founders and they had no problem with bringing the movie up to date. (Did you know that “In Remembrance” wasn’t even part of the weekend until Weekend #15?) We looked at a lot of different movies and discarded a lot of movies because there was something that was either distracting or got away from the intended message.
