Teens on the Street - Read "Stories of Hope" written by teens who lived on the streets until they discovered Covenant House, an adolescent care agency serving homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth. Begun over 30 years ago when six young runaways were given shelter from a snowstorm on the lower east side of Manhattan, Covenant House now has programs in 21 U.S. cities and Latin America. Each year, the national and international programs of Covenant House help over 77,000 young people to find safety, shelter, food, and someone to talk to.
