On April 10-11, 2010, we gathered at Travis Park United Methodist Church in San Antonio to celebrate the 75h Anniversary of The Upper Room. A framed collage was given to Travis Park with the following words:
“Presented to Travis Park UMC on April 11, 2010 by The Upper Room in honor of our 75h Anniversary. Your vision for encouraging others to experience God every day gave birth to our ‘little devotional book’ and has truly changed the world. Our deepest appreciation for praying us into existence. Sarah Wilke, Publisher, and the Staff of The Upper Room.”

What a wonderful celebration. My husband’s mother Judith Joyce Zirkel was part of those pioneering women at Travis park.
